The Ancient History of Modern Mixed Martial Arts
It is easy to believe that mixed martial arts began in 1993. The Ultimate Fighting Championship, or UFC, then started and popularized the idea of finding a way to combat end is based on existing styles. In these initial stages of the UFC, there were many safety rules, and many fighters from different traditions come against the same ring for the first time.

After the fall of Rome, mixed martial arts fight tournaments were mostly underground in the west, but continued a little public in the East.
